ORGANIC VINEYARDS, AUTHENTIC WINES
Organic Wines from the Umbrian Hills — Six Expressions of a Single Valley
Terra del Carmine has a long tradition of fine wine grown in organically certified vineyards. Our 6.4 hectares of south-westerly facing, close-planted vines grow without irrigation in rich, rocky soils, a condition that concentrates flavour and produces the natural minerality we are so proud of. The vineyard is built around 3.7 hectares of indigenous Umbrian varieties, alongside 1.4 hectares of Sangiovese, 1 hectare of Merlot, and a smaller plot of Cabernet Sauvignon: each variety chosen to express the full character of this land.

Great wines are made in beautiful places.
OUR AWARD WINNING WINEMAKER
A Heritage of Organic Excellence
We are guided by Giovanni Dubini, one of Italy's finest winemakers and recipient of the coveted Premio Cangrande at Vinitaly — an award reserved for producers who truly lead their field.
His philosophy is one of minimal intervention: let the land do the work, and trust the process. He practices organic farming not as a certification, but as a tradition. Just as we do.
Shaped by the land
Our work in the vineyard is uncompromising: low-cropped vines, no irrigation, careful attention to ripening. We truly believe that a great organic wine begins long before it reaches the cellar. The plentiful Umbrian sunlight and mineral-rich soils do the rest, producing wines of complexity and depth that are already receiving critical acclaim and being enjoyed around the world.
The result is a family of seven wines: Il Campanile, Indigeno Trebbiano, Rosso del Carmine, Bell’angelo, Rosa della Chiesa and Rosabella della Chiesa. Each one is a distinct expression of this valley, our soil and philosophy.
